I am wondering if anyone else has run into this sort of entity in a dream: the main characteristic (and this is a little gross)is that when the being gives a kiss to the dreamer in the dream, some weird substance gets left behind in the mouth of the dreamer, sort of like the feel of flesh after you have burned your mouth and that stuff eventually peels off. Does anyone know what I mean by this? I have run into this any number of times, and there seems to be a slight correlation in some of the Tibetan Buddhist concepts of nagas, but I wondered if anyone at all has had this experience and has an opinion on it. I may post this elsewhere to see who has ideas. Thanks!

I admit, I'm skeptical on every front. Reincarnation, otherkin, angels, dreamwalking. Skeptical but always but always willing to learn and listen. I try not to judge, it's not hard. But the more open I am, the more I seem to feel out of place even here.
Everyone seems to know their source, their ties, lives, what have you. Even those "awakening" seem to have a direction, feel a source. It's a puzzle coming together, slowly, but perceptibly.
So have any of you ever heard of an "other"-whatever with no conscious source? A place, elemental, that haunts their lives rather then any life form in specific?

Hi. My name's...well I have a lot of names. Jarred is my 'original' as us multiples call it. I'm Annabelle.
Annabelle of course is not my original name. It was my last name given a while ago. I was...someone hired to remove things...
But, 'in the beggining' as you all say I held a role that was not for the weak minded. There are other's here as well, including the first of us. His known name is William. If he wants he'll tell you his real name, but you wouldn't have heard of it.
Marriome is another, but like me s/he doesn't use her/his real name, mainly because everyone has heard it and the last this I want is Estel kicking down my door.
I see things in a different way to people. Like 9/11. I saw it the night before, but it was too late.
I remember falling. So vivid. The voices of the lives I took as I fell. God. All of them. The Seven. It was horrible. But it's not the fall that kills you as they say. I was given a chance after a while to prove myself worthy of flight and my other abilities. And I succeeded. But then when I came back, I returned to a buisness I swore I would not return to. And so, I became 'Earth-bound'.

Hey, I'm new here, and just want to join to check this community out.
I'm not really sure if I believe in this sort of thing or not. I've been feeling this way all my life, but I don't know why.
I thought that just maybe you guys could shed some light on this subject.
I've always felt like I had wings. Large, light brown feathered wings. I dream about flying at night, and even daydream about it during the day. It makes me feel special, made me feel like I was worth something, like I was free.
The people here seem to experience the same things that I do, so what do you guys think? I don't really even know. :/

Apologies for folks seeing this more than once, I'm cross-posting pretty widely (I think)...
So tonight, at a gather, a friend got brave and asked "exactly what do you mean by 'I'm a dragon'?" And we went off on an adventure (well, we'd already been doing that, to Atlantis, and Lemuria, but I digress).
After I explained, she harkened back to an earlier convo piece about migraines and people that no matter what, are 'forced' to suffer them (let it be known now that I AM a migraineur, for 15+ years, erratic to chronic; and I wish them away every time I have one - don't work). We talked a bit about "Science of Mind" and the idea that if you believe hard enough (affirmations) you can change the world: I've been told I can do this with my migraines. I can 'refute' the idea simply because I still have them (though an argument could be made by the uncaring/unsympathetic that "I'm not wishing hard enough") and that some terrifically important people in history had them, including one of my patron saints - Hildegard von Bingen, who was an acknowledged seer in the 11th Century.
She postulated that those of us who suffer from migraines (and can't get rid of them) may be people of a particular 'bend' - wherein we access both halves of our brains, and occasionally this occurs nearly simultaneously and it fouls up; causing the 'graine.
My questions (finally!) to you all is: Which of you suffers migraines and is both deeply spiritual, and deeply 'scientific' (believes, but prefers to touch/see "it"); and which of you is a dragon and is a migraineur?
I am dragon, and migraine. I am spiritual and scientific and both right and left brained - switching between the two without effort (sometimes).

All my life I've been getting messages and seeing things in snippets, dreams etc. About 2.5 years ago I started feeling my "wings" I would imagine stretching them out raising one wing and the opposite arm up while pulling the air around where my wing would end back. Flapping them up and around and, during the day just tapping people on the back with them to see if they "notice" my wings are prehensile and I can stretch them out to shield (doubt they would stop a bullet) myself or others or "hug" people with them whom I am not allowed to "touch" (funny thing workplace frowns upon hugging your colleagues all the time!)
I've always felt out of place with other people and society in general. I've always been the misfit and sometimes a little lost. I've even wondered if I'm here for "recertification" of sorts.....
Thoughts anyone?

I joined this community a while ago and i've never actually posted so i thought that now is as good a time as any. Where i live the term 'otherkin' doesn't get thrown around very often. Someone like myself would most likely refer to themselves as "incarnated". I'm an Incarnated Angel. It took me until my late teens to really come to terms with who i was and to embrace that part of myself (including my extra limbs). Luckily i had a close friend who also hails from the other realms and was able to guide/encourage me. She informs me that i have large black wings (they only turned black recently, they were red before). I have done a past life regression and i know that i was a part of an intergalactic 'organisation' that communicated between the different 'otherkin' of the universe. I was called upon to come to Earth, this last time, and reluctantly agreed, knowing the type of world i would be entering. And i believe my generation is called the Indigos. I find it difficult to identify other angelkin around me and welcome anyone who wishes to discuss their experiences about being angelkin to let me know.
p.s. thanks for having these communities, it really makes our missions and our lives that much easier to cope with :)

Right, my name's not really important, and with this set of fake e-mails to buffer myself I simply go by Laud. Luckily I go by Laud enough that is seems pretty natural. I guess I'm what you'd call "un-awakened" as of yet. I know there's something there, in the back of my head, and I can feel the brush of feathers in the wind, but I don't really have any grasp on it. I've never really explored any otherkin communities or sites before, so I'm sure I'll blurt out some social faux pas sooner or later. Hopefully later. As far as what I DO know, there's an animus involved which a lot of people blink at. We'll call him Alex, as the names as good as any(and even if you knew my real name, I don't think I'd share his). I don't know where he is currently, live, dead, or figment. I do know he's trying to get my attention for some reason, and I guess I'm here to see if he tells me it's the right direction to move in. As for that fun fact? It did make me laugh for a few minutes. Next week I'm having a tiny little surgery on my shoulder, and the only real effect will be a long scar running along my shoulder-blade. It made me laugh a little, and I think the doctor's confused as to why I'm not really concerned about any scaring.

Theve been pretty odd latly dreaming of looking in a mirror and a larg patch of skin missing from under my right eyes and the spot bleeding, but when the blood leavs the wound its just gone. I had the dream once when i was younger, well it haunted me for a while i tried to write about it but the only thing i wasnt replulsed at when i looked into the mirror were the wings. ill wake up and the spots where i was bleeding will be clammy. havent felt like that in such a long time, and now feeling more and more off balance like i am missing something, technically i know i am. just gets disturbing after a while.

Hi, I'm 99% sure I'm an angelkin.
For a start, I've been experiencing 'phantom limbs' - these are usually pure white and most times I have three pares of wings. Also, I have been having having dreams, in the most recent one my arm was stretched out to help another lower ranked angel (I'm not sure how I know this, but I do). In another I was a Seraphim giving advice to an archangel whom I had known for along time.
I'd love to talk to other angelkin, and if anyone knows any good sites regarding angelkin could you please tell me?

The long-term importance of the VEWRS & AVEWRS surveys can't be stressed enough and this will come into focus on a larger scale in May of 2009 with the publication of an academic book involving some of the information gathered thus far. This independent publication in May ‘09 necessitates that we stop accepting surveys and move full time into analysis and writing if we ever hope to finish this decade (over 130 additional surveys have been e-mailed to us after the initial Oct. ’07 deadline bring the response total to over 750+). If you have not already completed these surveys (preferably both parts) PLEASE take an hour or so tonight or this weekend/over the holidays to sit down and complete at least the VEWRS (Part 1 - Survey). PLEASE encourage others you know to complete these surveys as well - we rely on your assistance to reach as many individuals online and offline as possible.

Last night, I'm laying in bed and ... not really thinking about much. Hell, i can't even remember what I was thinking.
Out of the bloo comes an image: Wings. Draconic wings and angelic wings as one. The feathered resting against leathered, part of - but separate, individual yet as one.
I guess, spread a set of draconic wings open, and on top/resting against you have the feathered set.
I started to ask, "what, who's?" but nary the thought and I had the answer: Mine.
Once again I am going through a spiritual form flux. Dragon? Angel? Me? Total confusion. There is no solidity, only confusing blured images, indefinate lines.
The last time this happened, it was large cat warring with large bird of prey.
End result, I had to split myself a bit - Spiritually I kept human form, but sub-spiritually, the two other forms blurred around.
Final result: Gryphon.
I went through quite a process just to accept myself and forms, each change easing me into the next.
Now it's time I get closer to the truth. I wonder how long it will take.
I wonder what form it will be.....

The other night I followed a link I found here, and got a proverbial slap in the face when the realization finally hit.
Granted, I've always known I was not an angel, not a dragon, definately not a vampire (some of their peerage groups and rules and guidelines still piss me off), but I just knew I was more, especially when I can remember my first coming into existance - I wasn't born to a person, I was created by a thought, that was shared, and grew.
But reading a description of an Otherkin type, my past lives, memories and dreams suddenly came into focus.
I'm a Celestial.
I serve none but who asks politely. I make the choice to go where I'm needed each existance. If forced, I deny and pull away.
I just feel better now that I can finally say something and get understanding, instead of saying something that people are confused about.
I am Celestial.
And the possibilities scare the shit out of me.
